Bring us your passion, curiosity, and fresh ideas, and be a part of technology innovation at its best!  Job Description The Consulting Sales Representative is responsible for selling services, including consulting and education, to assigned MicroStrategy customers.  Working closely with the Directors, Professional Services (PSD) responsible for each account, this person in this role will: Meet or exceed sales quotas by (1) identifying, progressing and closing services contracts at accounts in assigned territories and (2) progressing and closing deals identified by field Directors. Conduct strategic business development to new targets within existing accounts, with the objective of introducing and positioning MicroStrategy's services to key decision-makers. Create and manage a healthy opportunity pipeline by researching, profiling, qualifying and targeting accounts based on needs and services strategy. Arrange and attend meetings with decision makers, position services offerings, conduct presentations and participate in demos, negotiate, and close deals. Collaborate with field sales and services personnel on account planning Support operational compliance by using prescribed tools and following the sales process. This is an inside sales role. As a result, the successful Representative must develop, nurture and maintain collaborative relationships with clients as well as remote consulting, education, and sales personnel in support of account plans and customer needs. Your Focus: Build and maintain knowledge of all MicroStrategy products and services Position services packages and solutions effectively, and persuasively communicate value proposition of MicroStrategy's products and services to address specified pain points for qualified buyers Communicate MicroStrategy differentiation in a clear and compelling way that drives interest and results in initial sales meetings        Perform contact discovery where necessary as part of the business development process to more effectively target business development efforts (i.e. - prospect identification and discovery of contact information) Identify and properly qualify business opportunities Maintain daily activities in system of record, tracking interactions with prospects and customers (Experience with salesforce.compreferred) Drive participation to MicroStrategy events and set-up on-site meetings at tradeshows with MicroStrategy presence Maintain a complete and accurate sales forecast including detail status on all opportunities using Salesforce.com Qualifications Motivation, Innovation, Passion, Integrity, Teamwork, Customer-Focus. You should also bring the following: Bachelor's degree with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience Prior experience selling and/or delivering complex technical products or services is required. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
