Accounting Manager

Responsibilities   Manage the budget and forecasting activities Ensure accurate and timely monthly and year end closes Assit the VP of Finance manage the banking relationship Obtain and maintain a thorough understanding of financialreporting and general ledger structure Financial reporting analysis including trending, variance analysis, and interpretations based on the results. Monitors and analyzes department work to develop more efficient procedures and use of resources while maintaining a high level of accuracy Support senior management with special projects and reports Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating future legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions. Maintains good communication and collaboration with operations, sales, project management, other stakeholders. Protects operations by keeping financial information and plans confidential The successful candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to juggle and prioritize multiple, competing tasks and demands and to seek supervisory assistance as appropriate.   The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by individuals assigned to this position. They are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties, responsibilities, and skills required of personnel so classified.   Qualifications Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration with an emphasis in Accounting, or a related field Ideal candidate has 5+ years of work experience in Finance and Accounting field Experience in revenue recognition with products and services revenue Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Excellent computer skills; experience in Microsoft  Dynamics NAV accounting software, Paychex payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
