Senior Director/Director, Accounts Receivable

Cvent, Inc. is seeking a Senior Director/Director, Accounts Receivable for our Tysons Corner, VA office. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving best practices throughout Cvent s quote to cash process. He or she will do this by working with the Director, Contract Management and Director, Collections in our India office and a team of approximately 100 individuals who execute the contract management, invoicing and collections processes. Additionally, this individual will act as a liaison between the quote to cash and sales teams for the purpose of resolving customer escalations and providing upstream feedback as the team works to streamline the process. The ideal candidate must possess strong leadership and problem-solving skills as well as the ability to work in teams and use data analytics to drive change. This role reports directly to the VP, Global Controller.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Identify process inefficiencies and recommend remediation to strengthen control environment in financial and operational areas through the use of system automation and relevant tools
  • Respond to and resolve complex billing issues and escalations, acting as a point of contact and escalation for sales
  • Lead integration efforts related to the quote to cash process for acquired companies
  • Lead testing efforts related to the roll out of new Oracle and/or Salesforce functionality
  • Partner with cross functional teams to share best practices and improve communication and procedures
  • Provide regular feedback to sales and provided training as needed to ensure they understand their impact to the quite to cash process
  • Contact customers to resolve outstanding questions, concerns and issues they might have related to their account
  • Hire, coach and motivate the team; monitor & help to improve team productivity and performance metrics

What You Need for this Position:

  • Bachelor s degree
  • 12+ years of overall experience, with experience in collections and/or accounts receivable
  • Strong mathematical skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office for Windows (Outlook, Excel and Word) is required
  • Experience using Oracle Financials and Salesforce is a strong plus
  • Self-starter who is action oriented, organized, and possesses a strong sense of urgency
  • Ability to work well in a team-oriented and intensely deadline-driven environment
  • Prior work with an international team is highly desired

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
