Analyst, Accounts Receivable

Job Description

Cvent, Inc. is seeking an Analyst, Accounts Receivable for our McLean, VA office. The successful candidate will be responsible for working customers and sales to provide answers to customer queries. S/he must possess strong attention to detail as well as the ability to work in teams some of whom are located outside of the McLean, VA area. This role reports directly to the Director, Collections.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Responsible for the resolution of escalated issues within the AR Help framework
  • Review contract information within the Salesforce. com system and update or add information as specified
  • Responsible for following-up to customer queries in a timely manner
  • Assist in performing account reconciliations related to customers as requested
  • Interact with sales and other teams within Cvent to resolve collections issues that may arise
  • Provide feedback with regards to the end to end invoicing process to enable improvements
  • Perform ad hoc duties as requested

What You Need For This Position:

  • Bachelor s degree
  • 4+ years of overall experience, with experience in collections and/or accounts receivable
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office for Windows (Outlook, Excel and Word) is required
  • Experience using Oracle Financials and Salesforce is a strong plus
  • Self-starter who is action oriented, organized, and possesses a strong sense of urgency
  • Ability to work well in a team-oriented and intensely deadline-driven environment
  • Prior work with an international team a strong plus

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
