Senior Compensation Analyst

Responsibilities:

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assists with the design, implementation, and continual improvement of compensation programs, through analytical methods including annual reviews, benchmarking surveys, and job classification.
  • Conducts compensation studies and analyses. Leverages data to develop recommendations and drive organizational decision-making on compensation.
  • Prepares ad hoc analyses of internal equity and external market competitiveness, as requested
  • Uses analytical techniques and models to help government organizations proactively manage compensation programs, policies, and practices.
  • Communicates analytical results and analytically driven findings to government decision makers in a clear, action-oriented way.
  • Establishes repeatable methods, processes, and tools for compensation analysis and trains others in their use.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor s degree from an accredited college or university
  • 3+ years of recent experience in compensation
  • 3+ years of recent experience using a variety of quantitative tools and methods to capture and analyze compensation metrics
  • Technical knowledge of government practices and policies for compensation and classification
  • Exceptional oral and written communication and presentation skills, with demonstrated experience presenting analytically driven results to non-technical audiences
  • Experience working in a project-based environment
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to obtain a U. S. government security clearance.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:

  • Advanced degree from an accredited college or university, in public administration, human resources, or a closely related field
  • Experience in federal government or federal government consulting
  • SHRM/PHR/CCP certification
  • Active government security clearance.


Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
