Senior Director/Director, Human Resources Operations

Job Description

Cvent, Inc. is seeking a Senior Director/Director, Human Resources Operations to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will provide leadership to a team of 10 as well as partner with our Global HR team on a variety of human resources programs, policies, and practices that enhance the employee experience, expands the organization and minimizes corporate risk. This person offers thought leadership regarding organizational and people-related strategy and execution; provides insightful data to guide decision-making and provides proactive solutions. They will manage a variety of strategic and long-range HR projects in support of our employee engagement, retention, high performance and HR service delivery goals.

What You Will Be Doing

  • International
    • Contributes in the HR management of international employees and expatriate/repatriate programs
    • Manages the implementation of HR services and employment policies during international expansion effort
  • M&A
    • Contributes in the HR due-diligence of mergers and acquisitions
    • Manages the onboarding of acquisitions and people programs for other corporate development transactions
  • Compliance/Policy
    • Ensures legal compliance improvements by monitoring applicable human resource federal and state/provincial requirements
    • Develops, recommends, and implements HR policies, guidelines, and procedures (national and international)
  • Systems
    • Manages HRIS data integrity and audits
    • Identifies and implements technology automation and measures efficiency gains
  • Employee Lifecycle Management
    • Manages the new hire orientation process, ensuring a high touch experience
    • Oversees the employee exit process
  • Payroll & Benefits Management
    • Recommends and manages benefits programs
    • Manages and/or reviews HR payroll US and International
    • Oversees immigration programs and initiatives

What You Need for this Position

  • 12+ years of practical and relevant Human Resources experience
  • 5-7+ years of leadership/management experience
  • Experience with mergers and acquisitions
  • Must have a good executive presence coupled with the ability to manage change
  • Bachelor s degree required
  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now preferred
  • Past Workday experience highly desired
  • Highly flexible and adaptable to changing structures and priorities
  • Ability to innovate and challenge current norms to drive change in the organization and work with people of varying backgrounds and organizational levels
  • A demonstrated ability to multitask, probe, analyze and problem-solve issues with minimal guidance
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
