Your job responsibilities will include supporting the customer's Networking and Communications Operations and Maintenance (O&M) team in deploying and operating business critical enterprise and data center network environments across a global wide area network (WAN). You will support mid- to senior-level internal escalation tiers for the team and will provide advanced trouble-shooting support and guidance to rapidly assess and remediate network engineering challenges that may arise. You will be responsible for supporting all networking-related technologies (systems, applications, and services) using Cisco, Juniper, and Riverbed based technologies. Travel is required - 10 percent - to support critical business needs. Qualifications: An active Top Secret clearance with eligibility for access to sensitive compartmented information (TS/SCI); The ability to complete a counter-intelligence scope polygraph (CSP); A college degree in an appropriately computer-related field from an accredited university or one of the following certifications: The CompTIA Security CE certification, The Global Information Assurance Certification (GIAC) Security Essentials Certification (GSEC); or The International Information Systems Security Certification Consortium, Inc. (ISC2) Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP); and The Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNA) Routing and Switching or Data Center certification; Five or more years of experience working with enterprise-level Cisco hardware, operating systems (IOS, NX-OS, ACI, etc.) and technologies (voice, video, routing, switching, security, etc.) across a WAN; Three or more years of experience working with enterprise-level Cisco-based routing and switching technologies (BGP, EIGRP, HSRP, OSPF, STP, VRF); Five or more years of experience working with secure encrypted networking devices (e.g., TACLANE or BorderGuard) and communication circuits, protocols, and configurations; Three or more years of experience designing, engineering, implementing, and maintaining networking solutions in secure processing environments which must adhere to U.S. Government Information Assurance and Security standards such as the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs); Three or more years or experience working with network-based security technologies such as Next Generation Firewalls and Access Control Lists to secure network traffic at all supported layers of the OSI Reference Model. Desired Qualifications: Having completed a counter-intelligence scope polygraph (CSP) within the last five (5) years; An bachelors or higher degree in an appropriately computer-related field from an accredited university or one of the following certifications: The International Information Systems Security Certification Consortium (ISC2) Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification, The CompTia Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP) plus continuing education (CASP CE) certification; The following certifications (or significant progress towards achieving these certifications are strongly desired: The Cisco Certified Networking Professional (CCNP) Routing and Switching certification; The CCNP Data Center certification; The Cisco Certified Design Associate (CCDA) certification; The CCNA Collaboration certification; The CCNA Security certification; Experience operating, tuning, and maintaining Cisco Unified Communications Manager, TelePresence Management Suite, and TelePresence Video Communication Server (VCS) to support enterprise-level collaboration (i.e., voice and video) services across a WAN; Experience working with software-based configuration management solutions capable of documenting, storing, and on-demand deployment of pre-generated, reviewed, and approved network device configurations; Experience working with Cisco data center technologies such as the Data Center Network Manager (CDNM) and Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI) to support software-designed data center (SDDC) enterprise solutions; EEO Statement: Engility Corporation is committed to hiring and retaining a diverse workforce. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
