Business Analytics Lead

Job Description:
Position Overview This position will be part of the Retail Lending Decision Management organization within the Credit and Collateral Standards team.
The Retail Lending Decision Management team is responsible for analytics, decision strategy, pricing and credit and collateral standards across all retail products (automobile, home equity, credit card, etc.
).
This includes developing effective methods for making lending decisions and identifying opportunities to improve profitability, origination volume and account management while maintaining appropriate controls and limits on credit and fraud risk.
As a Business Analytics Lead on the Retail Lending Decision Management team , you will provide analytic support in managing the collateral products used in real estate lending.
The collateral products used must meet regulatory requirements and have controls to show their use and outcomes are as expected.
Will also be responsible for developing new products as applicable to continue to optimize profitability within the bank's risk appetite.
Responsibilities include collateral management, policy development and approval oversight.
This role is also responsible for monitoring the performance of the standards within the decision framework and identifying where opportunities for improvement can be made.
This position is located in NC - Charlotte, VA - Tysons Corner, DC - Washington, DE-Wilmington, OH-Cleveland or PA - Pittsburgh.
The successful candidate will have the following Qualifications: o Bachelor's Degree or higher education.
o 5+ years of work experience at a financial or consulting organization.
o Established Consumer Credit or Retail Compliance background o Credit Policy development and oversight experience o 5+ years of SAS or Python coding experience is preferred o Real Estate Collateral measurement experience o Strong Word and Excel skills o Knowledge of banking industry o Knowledge of visualization tools (e.
g.
Tableau) o Excellent written and oral communication skills Job Profile Provides business and technical expertise for the analytics process, tools, and applications for a business function or business unit.
Conducting appropriate performance measures to be produced including lifts, efficiencies, confidence intervals, and other statistical metrics.
Analyzing and processing data, building and maintaining models and report templates, and developing dynamic, data-driven solutions.
Providing business clients with detailed, actionable reports documenting the findings form, data processing, and data analysis.
Consulting on using business intelligence data for predictive analytics and facilitating implementation of new tools and data marts.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
