Position Overview As a Quantitative Analytics & Model Development Analyst Sr within PNC's Analytics and Portfolio Mgmt organization, you will be based in VA - Tysons Corner, DC - Washington, or PA - Pittsburgh.
In this role, you will be working on the firm's residential real estate portfolio loss forecasting models and other models for business use.
As an Analyst Sr.
, you will be responsible for quantitative modeling and applying analytical tools and techniques to analyzing and monitoring model results.
You will perform daily modeling activities, provide insights based on data analytics, perform model performance monitoring, support model validation and regulatory review.
This position is located in VA - Tysons Corner, DC - Washington, or PA - Pittsburgh Preferences/Skills o Master's in quantitative fields such as math, statistics, economics or finance o PhD in a quantitative field preferred o Strong SAS programming skills, close familiarity with SAS Enterprise Guide and Enterprise Miner o Experience using R and Python strongly preferred o Deep knowledge of regression techniques: logistic regression, linear regression, time series, etc.
o Familiarity with modern Machine Learning techniques (classification and regression trees, artificial neural networks, ensemble methods) preferred o Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint o Good communication skills, ability to write clear technical documentation and present technical materials to executive audience o Previous experience with loss forecasting models preferred o Previous experience of CCAR/CECL modeling preferred Job Profile Independently performs advanced quantitative analyses and model development to drive decision-making by running quantitative strategies.
Makes recommendations based on analyses.
Analyzes and develops new model frameworks by supporting the line of business.
Refines, monitors, and reviews existing models.
Conducts on-going communication with model owners and model developers during the course of the review.
Works with larger, more complex datasets to create models.
Performs quantitative analysis and develops complex reports.
Performs qualitative and quantitative assessments of all aspects of models including theoretical aspects, model design and implementation as well as data quality and integrity.
Analyzes complex data and associated quantitative analysis.
Makes recommendations based on findings from data analytics.
Uses quantitative tools and techniques to measure and analyze model risks and reaches conclusions on strengths and limitations of the model.
Prepares and analyzes detailed documents for validation and regulatory compliance, using applicable templates.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
