Job Description
General Description:
The Logistics Coordinator (LC) reports to the Supply Systems Manager. Conducts day-to-day tracking of all procurement requests under existing contracts and DSS policy and is responsible for general logistical and administrative support to accomplish the primary mission of the Administrative and Logistics unit. The LC is also responsible for working in support of warehousing operations and personnel, training personnel in tracking operations and participating in the onsite management of items falling within the discrepancy report.
Major Duties:
+ Monitors all equipment coming into the DS/ATA warehouse
+ Tracks equipment from initial entrance into ARIBA through shipment to OCONUS destination, ensuring projected training dates are met by timely delivery of all training course equipment
+ Monitors eWISE receiving notifications and updates SharePoint accordingly; sends notification of delivery to Training Delivery Officers (TDOs) and Program Managers (PMs); coordinates with warehouse personnel to maintain accountability of all materials and resolve all problems with shipments;
+ Develops and maintains SharePoint Equipment Tracking Board for each course of equipment procured
+ Develops and maintains completion reports for all requesting TDOs, PMs, and Country Coordinators
+ Develops and maintain professional and comprehensive record books for each course of equipment procured
+ Informs RBS account specialist of the completion of all orders in order to facilitate the payment of vendors
+ Resolves all discrepancies of equipment received within individual orders
+ Compiles descriptive and functional reports of varying subject matter for submission to Supply Systems Manager, TDOs, and PMs.
+ Monitors vendor performance
+ Reviews Purchase Orders with vendors for clarity
+ Visits warehouse contract Program Manager on a weekly basis, to provide current information in support of the tracking of training equipment
+ Maintains vendor performance record to notate any issues with vendor equipment deliveries
+ Provides tracking boards to warehouse both electronically and physically for total merge of all ATA records
+ Develops and maintains living catalog section of commonly used weapons, gear, and parts for ATA users
+ Maintains archive of records of equipment from past courses
+ Advises Supply System Manager on the status of all equipment lines
+ Assists in the development of Support Request Forms (SRF's);
+ Assists in entering the SRF's into the ARIBA System for the Administrative and Logistics Unit;
+ Develops and maintain files to ensure the proper control and management of all SRF's and Purchase Orders;
+ Maintains the accountability of the SRF's and all supporting documents pertaining to the SRF's;
+ Processes invoices and relay them to Vendor Claims;
+ Coordinates between Program Managers and vendors;
+ Maintains a multi-user database for easy access to information pertaining to all training programs.
Professional Qualifications/Skills:
+ Bachelor?s degree or four years? practical experience as a logistics specialist/coordinator with a government bureau of entity; experience with DS/ATA-type system preferred
+ Must have comprehensive knowledge of the Department?s Integrated Logistics Management System (ILMS);
+ Must be able to execute and coordinate several projects simultaneously and efficiently,
+ Must be able to exhibit compatibility with others in a closely coordinated team, contributing and articulating ideas and positive feedback in a constructive manner
+ Must maintain high standards for quality of work and professional growth
+ Must develop solid understanding of Department of State rules, regulations and procedures relating to acquisitions and logistics processes
+ Experience in Microsoft Office software and eWise.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
