Audit Project Manager (Job Number:436305) Description: Job Description: Looking for a details-oriented, assertive, and experienced Project Manager. This Project Manager will be responsible for the coordination, execution, control and completion of multiple assigned Information Technology projects for the Audit team, which includes managing multiple work streams, closely coordinating and communicating with project stakeholders, and ensuring consistency with other executing projects. This position leads the planning and execution of the Audit projects, facilitates the definition of audit deliverables in collaboration with the stakeholders, defines project tasks and resource requirements in conjunction with the audit SMEs, as well as develops detailed project plans. Assembles and coordinates project resources in collaboration with resource managers ensuring appropriate skills are obtained as well as engaging appropriate stakeholders to support and deliver work products which meets business goals and objectives. Projects will be working solely for a Federal Civilian customer. Using a combination of management skills and specific security system knowledge, this role will be a key resource in meeting the customer-s audit response and remediation. Additionally, this role is responsible for supporting the project governance processes within the security department and escalate status and issues to the senior project manager and Audit team leads in order to enable effective decision making and deliver business value for the security team. Team routinely interacts with senior and executive- level management on both the contractor side and the customer side. Job Responsibilities: - Support the governance and project status review meetings for all audit activities - Build strong relationships with clients and internal departments to understand the business challenges and opportunities for improvement - Ability to manage multiple projects (full lifecycle management) - Brief both the customer and fellow contract support on status of Audit activities - Work closely with the Audit team lead, technical leads, and client side security staff, develop project approach and detailed schedules - Work as a change manager to help roll out the policies and procedures developed for conducting Audit team tasks within the environment - Support and train program staff on Audit processes - Develop detailed reports and present the information to the executive suite on the customer side weekly Qualifications: REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: - Bachelor-s degree (or equivalent) in Systems Engineering, business, or related fields plus six (6) years of related experience; - Masters and four (4) years or more experience ; - PhD or JD and four (4) years or more experience. Required Qualifications: - Project Management experience; familiarity with an Agile development approach a plus - Fundamental project management skills within matrix environment and a solid foundation in business process management, tool design and optimization - excellent understanding of the core competencies: (scope, time, budget, risk, quality, integration, resource management, and communications) - PM / Technology policy development / change management experience - Strong requirements gathering and documentation experience - Expert in collaboration, team building, and customer service. - Demonstrated skill running effective meetings and getting buy-in and participation from executive leaders - Ability to organize and present reports, create documentation, and track status. - Experience working with federal or federal civilian government agencies - Facilitate governance and policy development. - Strong track record of utilizing the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for implementation - Strong oral and written communication skills across all levels - Self-starter and problem solver Required Skills: - Strong time management and multitasking skills; attention to detail - Experience working with multiple high priority tasks simultaneously - Comfortable documenting and defining system security requirements - Excellent oral and written communications skills, including writing comprehensive reports and white papers - Ability to communicate IT, networking, and security concepts to personnel at all levels of experience and responsibility - Senior level documentation and reporting skills - Experience as a government contractor Preferred/Desired Qualifications: - Understanding of FISMA and NIST standards; Assessment and Authorization skills a plus. - Master-s degree in Systems Engineering, business, or related fields. - Working knowledge of vulnerabilities and exploits. - Experience in developing technical solutions and new security tools to help mitigate security vulnerabilities and automate repeatable tasks - Working knowledge of security architectures and devices Clearance Requirement: - Ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance (High) SAIC Overview:SAIC is a premier technology integrator providing full life cycle services and solutions in the technical, engineering, intelligence, and enterprise information technology markets. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
