Sr. Process/Deputy Quality System Manager

Overview
This position will serve as a senior member of the process and quality management team focusing on executing the LMI Quality Management System (QMS) and providing internal process improvement consulting. The ideal candidate for this position is able to balance audit requirements with a problem solving approach focused on achieving customer and internal business goals and improving overall performance.
Responsibilities
Responsible for assisting the Quality System Manager in planning, developing, implementing, and optimizing the quality management process. Key responsibilities include:
Develops and implements processes, procedures, tools, templates, and checklists that advance LMI's quality management objectives.
Provides consulting to managers and staff on the implementation of quality and process improvement initiatives.
Develops and implements QMS training; providing coaching in various life-cycle models and use of tools.
Prepares for, participates in, and leads (as appropriate) external quality evaluations; including CMMI appraisals and SCAMPI events, ISO audits ? ISO 9001, AS9100, ISO 20000, and ISO 27000
Performs internal audits against various standards/models including ISO 9001, ISO 20000, ISO 27000, AS9100, and CMMI; utilizing risk-based thinking to identify root causes of deviations and potential preventive controls.
Communicates and engages with all LMI staff on QMS procedures and changes; leading discussion groups and process implementation efforts.
Supports Business Development in writing/customizing quality sections within proposals.
Prepares for and participates in Management Review Boards to highlight the overall health of project performance and effectiveness of the QMS.
Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Develop and finalize written materials that are compliant with certification requirements, including internal audits, procedures, briefings, and reports.
Plan, organize, and implement projects; prioritizing work and eliciting relevant information as part of a team and as a leader.
Extensive knowledge of various life-cycle models and supporting tools.
Superior oral and written communications skills.
Strong interpersonal and listening skills and the ability to effectively interact with all levels of LMI personnel and vendors in a professional manner.
Proficient in the use of project management tools, such as Microsoft Project, and related software packages such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, and Visio.
Strong problem solving and analytical skills; must be self-directed and detail oriented; balancing and prioritizing multiple activities.
Preferred Qualifications/Experience
Bachelor's degree or higher.
7+ years of system engineering/program management experience.
Preferred certifications: PMP, ITIL V3, ISO Lead Auditor.
Previous quality management experience in CMMI Development and Services, ISO 9001, AS9100, ISO 2000, and ISO 27000.
Experience developing, delivering, and evaluating training.
Experience developing presentations for senior managers and staff.
Secret or ability to obtain Secret Clearance.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
