Principal Security Engineer

Piper Companies is seeking a Principal Cyber Security Engineer to join a flourishing commercial security company based out of Tysons Corner, VAThe Principal Cyber Security Engineer will be responsible for leading holistic efforts in identifying security risk, vulnerability scanning, intrusion detection, SIEM, database monitoring and file integrity monitoring Responsibilities of the Principal Cyber Security Engineer includes:
Determine, monitor and maintain enterprise security posture in collaboration with engineering teams Oversee/manage the deployment, integration, enhancement and configuration of security tools in the cloud and on-prem Develop and maintain threat models for cloud environments and train engineering teams to develop attacker/risk driven design skills Qualifications for the Principal Cyber Security Engineer includes :

years of holistic cyber security, engineering, architecture in red, blue and purple environments Proven management/team leadership experience Strong experience in enterprise cloud security architecture/engineering including threat modeling, future planning, monitoring, and vulnerability scanning for commercial companies Bachelor's degree is required CISSP, CEH, CISA, OSCP or other information security certifications are highly preferred Compensation for the Principal Cyber Security Engineer includes :
Salary Range:
$170,000 - 180,000 depending on experience

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
