LMI has an immediate need for a Receptionist/Security Assistant for our corporate office in Tysons, VA.
The Receptionist/Security Assistant provides support to the Security department by greeting and processing/checking-in all visitors, answering all incoming calls and issuing credentials and access badges.
This includes creating and issuing photo ID and access control badges to LMI visitors.
This is a full-time position.
The Receptionist/Security Assistant is expected to have the reception desk open and operating promptly at 8:
00 a.
m.
and throughout the day until 5:
00 p.
m.
Relief coverage will be provided for a 30-minute lunch, as well as morning and afternoon breaks of 15 minutes each.
Responsibilities:
Greet and check-in customers and guests into LMI visitor registration system.
Create and issue photo ID and access control badges to LMI visitors.
Issue temporary security badges to employees as needed.
Assist as needed with the internal badge key access system, including updating data such as names, access location, dates, times and lock downs Check Physical Security System to reactivate expired badges and deactivate those that are damaged or destroyed.
Answer all incoming calls in a timely and courteous manner.
Determine purpose of call and assist the caller in locating appropriate employees via the paging and voice mail systems.
Provide callers with information such as company address, directions to the company location, company fax numbers, company website, and other related information.
Maintain the company phone list.
Ensure reception area is neat, organized, and clear of non-company related books, magazines, and materials.
Attend department meetings.
Maintain regular attendance.
Perform all other tasks as directed by the VP, Security.
Qualifications:
Candidate must be eligible to obtain a Top-Secret Security Clearance.
Candidate must have excellent telephone etiquette with ability to interact with all levels of employees, clients, vendors, and visitors in a professional manner and with a professional demeanor.
Excellent customer service skills are essential for success in this role.
Candidate must be able to contribute to a professional work environment by demonstrating integrity, promoting teamwork, and fostering positive communications.
Candidate must possess strong organizational skills and have a positive, problem-solving attitude and be able to manage multiple tasks with moderate supervision.
Candidate must be able to adapt to changing work efforts and manage impact of shifting priorities.
Candidate must be able to maintain familiarity with current LMI policies and procedures.
Candidate must be able to maintain absolute confidentiality in all business matters.

Qualifications:
Minimum of one year of professional experience as a receptionist SECURITY CLEARANCE STATEMENT:
Applicants selected for this position will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
For this position, LMI will only consider applicants with current security clearances or applicants who are eligible for security clearances.
